  • Choose whether to make 1 single large lantern or a pair of smaller lanterns. You will decorate a set of side panels to be fused and then inserted into the sides of each lantern. f

You have a choice of whether to make a single large lantern, a pair of medium sized lanterns or a trio of small lanterns.  Please select this when you make your booking so that the correct sized glass is cut for you.

For each lantern you will create a set of panels of fused glass decorated to your own design working with a range of forms of glass - frits, powders, confetti, coloured glass, mica powders, glass paints, glow in the dark powder and more.  

The panels will be fired in the kiln and then inserted into the sides of the lamp.  With the light shining out through each panel of fused glass, you will have a stunning finished piece.

You will work with float glass and float compatable materials. 

This workshop is for both the experienced and complete beginners.  

Price includes all materials, kiln firing, refreshments and one large metal lamp or two medium metal lamps (make your selection when you book your place).
