This practical day is aimed at beginners who want to learn the basics of leaded stained glass.  Each attendee will complete a leaded stained glass panel to take home at the end of the course.

 Course Content

  • Learning to cut glass
  • Cutting glass to fit a design (you will choose from a selection of pre-drawn designs)
  • Cutting the lead to fit the glass and desig
  • Fitting the glass and lead together to match the design
  • Soldering the lead at the joins
  • Cementing the finished panel

Course fee is fully inclusive of all materials, use of tools, lunch and refreshments.

Max students: 4 (on the odd occasion there may be 5 students, but usually there are no more than 4)

Start Time: 9:30am, Finish Time: 5pm (approx)

Please note this course is NOT SUITABLE if you are PREGNANT or BREAST FEEDING due to the handling of lead.
