2214 Making Enamelled Copper Jewellery - Friday 4th September 2026, 9:30am - 12:30

This is a fun, creative workshop to make your own enamelled copper jewellery.  You will learn how to prepare your copper blanks, apply your enamel and decoration and fire your piece in the kiln  Your finished pieces will be made up of 2 layers of enamelled copper - a bigger back piece and a smaller front piece.  You will make a pair of earrings and a pendant. 

You will build up your piece in stages with a firing in the kiln in between each stage.  Your design will build up as you go and you will have a range of materials and techniques to play with. If you have worked with glass fusing you will love the speed with which you build up your design using many of the same techniques that you are already familiar with.  If you are new to any kind of kiln work, you will love the excitement and magic of putting something into a kiln and bringing out a fabulous piece of your own work.  

You will choose from a selection of copper blanks and then make multi piece pendant and a set of matching earrings.  You will be able to make finished jewellery pieces which you will take home at the end of the session.

Price includes all tools, equipment, a wide range of materials and copper shapes, and any jewellery fixings required to complete your pieces.

Suitable for beginners and students with some previous experience.
