This is a really exciting way of working with enamel. You will build up the base layers of your design in the normal way, by applying one decorative enamel element at a time and heating your copper panel in the kiln at a temperature of around 830C between each application. You will then apply your final details which you will heat to a higher temperature of nearly 900C. At this temperature you will be able to manipulate the enamel in its more molten state by scrolling through it with a metal scrolling tool and create your unique designs within the enamel.
You will make two panels of either 5cm by 10cm or 7.5m by 7.5cm. You will take these home at the end of the session. They make great decorative pieces if you mount them in a frame or on a painted board.
Price includes all materials, use of the kiln and refreshments
